Who Is Marck Jai?

Who is Marck Jai? Thats a great question actually that can only be answered by another question. Where is Marck Jai from? Now, it has been said that you can tell half about a person by where they are from. So the answer may be shocking to most people. I am originally from Albany Ga. population around 77,000 and 55,000 are black. Despit our rather small population, Albany Ga was ranked among the poorest cities in America. With not a lot lot of opportunities avaliable left my ambitious mind with no other outlet except the street life or music. And honestly I chose to do both at one point in my life as a means of survival. Fortunatly enough for me I was able to manifest my dreams of becoming a professional recording artist into reality. So to answer the question of who is Marck Jai, the answer is simple. Marck Jai is the definition of the words struggle, dedication, and a relentless drive. Everything that I do musically is bigger then me because I come from a place where it is not everyday where a young black kid has something to say and people actually listens. Marck Jai is every under priviledged kid in every city just like Albany Ga, who is just striving to see a better day. Marck Jai is love.
